Grace Marie sure kept her Parent's waiting for her to make her grand entrance, but she was definitely worth the wait. Such a tiny and sweet baby girl, at under 6 lbs the day of our session. She let me pose her as I wanted, never making a fuss! 

Ellen is my cousin, and her baby boy MJ is quite possibly the cutest dude ever! He has the sweetest personality. I am so glad this shoot worked out! Late November is always an unpredictable time of year for an outdoor shoot, but we had an unseasonably warm day after many days of rain. Enjoy the sneaks! 

Those eyes! Avery stole my heart - just the sweetest baby girl (oh how I love photographing baby girls, being a Mama of two boys!) 

Meet Cameron, the sweetest little gal! She is probably going to grow up to be a supermodel not only because she was perfect for her first photo shoot, but she is so tall already! I loved spending a few hours with Cameron, her Mommy and Grandma. 

I met up with this gorgeous family on an overcast but warm mid-November day. Big sister Delaney has grown so much since the first time I met her, over a year ago. I photographed little sister Zoey as a newborn this past Spring (which seems like yesterday!) Such a sweet family that I am lucky to have as clients :-)

I photographed these ladies when they were 3 weeks old, older than I am used to, which just meant we had to work a little harder ;-) They both look so different from eachother, and the smaller of the two - Darcy was one of the smallest newbies I have worked with, under 5 pounds! Such beautiful sisters, and a very handsome proud big brother. 

This was my 3rd year photographing these three FUN boys! Every year gets a little easier, little boys like to move! Patrick, Scott, and Daniel :-) Such adorable little guys!

Stevie is such a sweet little red head, and watching his parents interact with him to get him to smile was so endearing. He is one lucky baby boy, surrounded by love. 

I have lost count of how many times I have photographed this family! Such wonderful people, and loyal clients ;-) This year, they have a new family member, Hank! The cutest pup I've ever seen!

I photographed little Khloe last December, and oh my how she has changed! She is such a little chunk, I love it. Big Sister Layla is a doll, and such a sweet big sister. I LOVED the outfits (and especially the hats) that the girls Mama chose for them to wear to the session. So fun and wintery! 

This is the 3rd year in a row I have photographed this little beauty, and I can't believe how much she has grown from the first time I met her! This recent session was a fun one! She was acting so silly, and had her Mommy and I laughing the whole time. Thanks for a fun evening Sofie :-)

I can't believe I am just now blogging my own little baby! Louis ("Louie") was born September 21st at 1:23pm weighing 9lbs 6 oz! He is absolute perfection. Here are some photos of him on Day 12. It is no easy task photographing your own baby just days after giving birth. I gave it a few other attempts, but Day 12 was my luckiest.

Isabella is one of my favorite little ladies. I photographed her Mommy almost exactly 1 year ago when Bella was still in her belly. Then, I photographed Isabella as a newborn, 5 months, and now at 1 year. She is such a doll, love her! This session had to be rescheduled countless times due to the stupid Maryland weather, and the session finally happened with me being nearly 38 weeks pregnant - no easy task. The entire day of the session was gorgeous, and then just as our session was to start, a thunder storm rolled in. Luckily we caught a little break, and shot the session while it was just sprinkling in-between storms. Bella's Mommy thinks it is good luck, I have to agree. ;-)

Baby Quinn was such a sweetie for me, especially for being as alert as she is, we got some cute sleeping shots :-) The hat in the first picture was bought as half a joke, it is actually a headband meant to be worn by an adult! I spent an early Sunday morning with Ella and her Parents. This session might have turned me into a morning person, as we beat the heat and it was so nice to shoot when it wasn't scorching hot outside! Ella was the sweetest little lady, too :-)

Meet Stu, just 8 days new :-) I photographed Stu's cousin Nicholas back in May. He was the eggplant head baby. Stu is modeling a pumpkin head hat, both of them made by their Grandma, too sweet.

I have watched Edison's Big Brother Dexter grow up right before my lens, from the time he was just about his Baby Brother's age now! Now, Edison is growing up just as quick right before my lens! These two are the cutest, happiest, most laid back little people I have had the pleasure of photographing. Their sessions are always some of my favorites!

These two were absolutely adorable together, so close in age and in my opinion they look so much alike! I am sure in just a few months (if not already) people will be asking Mom and Dad on the streets if they are twins! I am so happy this session FINALLY happened, as it was one of my June sessions that was rescheduled due to the unpredictable Maryland weather. 

This baby girl was such a sweet little one! I thought she was going to fall asleep when she was laying in the grass :-) This session had to be rescheduled again and again (as nearly ALL of my June sessions have been - crazy weather!) and I am so glad it finally worked out! 

I am sure if you follow my blog you recognize these 3 faces. I have photographed them a handful of times over the past year and a half, the littlest of the 3 - Jossalyn was a 2010 Baby Planner, and I had the pleasure of photographing her several times during her first year. Nicolas was the other winner of my "2010's Favorite Newborn" Contest from earlier this year. I have photographed him as a newborn, 5 months and now at 1 year, and he somehow manages to get cuter every time I see him. He has ticklish thighs and his little giggle when I would tickle him still has me smiling :-)

I photographed Kennedy this past September when she was just 10 days old. For fun, here is a shot from her newborn session! Seeing "my" babies grow is up there on my list of favorite things about what I do :-)

Little Zoey was a dream to photograph - so quiet and sweet, and so very sleepy! I am looking forward to more sessions with Zoey during her first year of life! 

How pretty is this Mama to be? Actually all three of them! I am sure the new baby will be just as beautiful. The gender is a surprise, and I can't wait to hear the news, and of course photograph him or her! 

Introducing baby Nicholas! I photographed him on his eleventh day of life. He was another little fighter, I have had my fair share of them lately ;-) He also has a handsome big brother, Sam. 

I photographed the littlest of these brothers when he was just a few days old! He was actually the first newborn I photographed here in Maryland. Time flies, and look how cute this little duo is! 

This little girl was a fighter! I think her Mama and I were both a little worried as the clock ticked that we would end the day without any sweet sleeping shots, but as our session came close to an end, Lily finally gave into that precious sleep :-) Look how pretty she is!

My sister Samantha and her boyfriend Pete are in town, and so we went out for our second annual couple's photoshoot in the old graveyard on the hill! The light in that little graveyard is magical. Mom warned me that Nataleigh was a very alert baby and awake a lot, but she stayed up partying all night long before our photoshoot, which worked to our advantage. She gave us a nice little stretch of sleepy time for poses. :-)

Sweet Stella is actually quite serious! I am glad I was able to catch a few smiles, we worked hard for them ;-) Just for fun, the first shot is from Stella's newborn session last Summer!

Yesterday I met up with Jossalyn who just turned 1! There was still fresh snow on the ground from the storm a couple of days earlier, but she didn't mind too much. I have loved photographing this little beauty every few months over the past year :-)

This little guy makes the most adorable noises i've ever heard. He definitely kept me entertained, as I know I did him because he was alert and feisty most of the day. Lots of feisty newborns for me lately :-)

Ayson was my first session of 2011, and he was definitely ready to party and ring in the New Year with me! He was awake almost the entire time, I think he dozed off for about 5 minutes during the time I was there - not to mention he had already been awake for 3 straight hours by the time I arrived for the shoot yesterday! Yesterday was my last session for 2010, and Khloe was the perfect subject to spend the day with! She snoozed the entire time, never once showing me her eyes. It is definitely feeling like Winter outside, and this session was a chilly one! But, little Genevieve was a trooper, and we got some adorable shots of her. Just three weeks ago I was photographing Gideon's Mommy's belly! He was born two weeks after our maternity session, and today I met the little guy on day 6. He has such an old soul, and when I looked at him, although very tiny I marveled at how "grown up" that little face looks. He is adorable and sweet, and so so tiny. Most of my newborn hats were much too big for him, but I have a feeling he will be bigger than all of the other kids his age very soon, because he eats like a champ! I photographed this little miss back in May when she was just 1 week old, and here she is at 6 months. I was really excited to photograph Vivian again because her Mommy and Daddy are some of my favorites :-) I actually got to see them twice in two weeks because we attempted this session once before but it was pretty cold and Vivian wasn't havin' it. It had been 5 months since I last saw Nicolas, and I was really excited to see how much he had changed since I did his newborn photos this past June. He stole my heart and is just the sweetest little guy with an adorable smile! He was actually pretty serious for most of the session and he made me work hard to get those smiles! He thinks I am pretty funny looking when I do fish lips ;-) Watching these little babies grow and capturing these sweet memories for their parents is the best part of my "job"! Jossalyn is one of my baby planners, which means I have the privilege of photographing her several times over the course of her first year. This was our third time together, and it is always a pleasure. Jossalyn has two equally beautiful older siblings - Justin, and Jordan and they are always sooo well behaved! I had the pleasure of photographing Mimi this afternoon, is she not glowing?! Mimi and Michael are expecting a baby boy named Gideon, and I can hardly wait to photograph him during his first few days :-) I have to admit, I was a little concerned about the lack of leaves on the trees here in Maryland lately. Most of the trees at my locations are completly bare now, and I have several outdoor shoots coming up this month, so I was on the hunt for a spot that was still full of beautiful fall foliage - and I found it! I photographed Carter as a newborn in 2009, and I was honored to be asked to photograph him again at One Year! This first side by side image is a reminder of just how fast they change and grow, and this is just one of the reasons why I love my job! You will probably recognize the little boy in the post - Dexter! He has graced my blog 3 times over the past year and he is just ADORABLE! He is going to be a big brother in just a few weeks, and I can't wait to meet the newest addition to the family. Lia told me about her vintage dress and about her vision for a shot in a field of tall grass with the fall colors in the background and a cool chair as a prop. I knew that my Husband's Grandmother's chair would be perfect, and I think it was! If you follow my blog, you will probably recognize all of these faces, they have all been in front of my lens over this past year. I photographed baby Blake as a newborn, and then again a couple of months ago. He is my website cover model, showing off his lone tooth! He now has more than one, but was a little bit shy to show those teeth for this session, but is still oh so cute! Baby Sydney was recently on my blog, as was the oldest of the group, Sofia. It was time for the "Cousins Holiday Photo Extravaganza" and I had tons of fun! At last years extravaganza, baby Syndey was only 6 weeks old, and baby Blake was still in his Mama's belly! It is amazing how much things change in just 1 short year......

I spent the evening chasing after this adorable little man. Seriously, his hair and his eye lashes are to die for. Future Heartbreaker! I probably spent more time chasing, and less time photographing..but that is VERY much expected with a 2 year old, especially a 2 year old BOY! The end result is worth it though, I have many favorites, and I hope you don't hate me for posting a family shot, I happen to think you all look beautiful. Family shots sure are HARD with a toddler! I photographed Qynne this past August when she was just 11 days old, and first let me just say WOW! I can't believe how fast babies change in just a few weeks. Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Qynne's Daddy and her 4 older siblings. I spent this evening with Taylor and her Parents, and what a perfect evening it was. I spent the day wondering if the session would even happen, because the weather called for thunder storms. Luckily, Mother Nature was on our side and the sun was still shining when the time came for our scheduled session. Taylor was presented to me wearing her adorable Rudolph Christmas dress and I took some Christmas photos of her, and her parents. Then, just like magic - she morphed into a gorgeous little fall fairy! I spent this morning with Delaney, how adorable is she? She is only 1 day older than my son, and let me tell you they have one other thing in common, she can MOVE! Delaney is definitely two years old - such a tough age, but so much fun to watch them explore and see everything for the first time. Today I met up with these 4 siblings for some updated photos for their Parents. This is the second time I have photographed adult siblings as a Parent gift, and I think it is just such a cute idea. It sure makes my job easy to have subjects that stand still, look at me, and smile!

I did Isabella's Mama's maternity photos about a month ago, and I knew that this baby would be one beautiful little girl! She was awake for most of our session today, looking around and trying to figure out this big world she is now in.

The plan was to get some photos of Sofia in some of the beautiful local sunflower fields, but things don't always go as planned. We did manage to dodge a storm this evening, so that was in our favor. The sunflowers on the other hand were very sad and weepy! So we made the best of our chosen location and improvised! Love the shots under the weeping willow trees.
